What's your FAVOURITE video game or games of all time?
Here's a few of mine.
Sonic 1 - The original 2D Sonic that I grew up with. No crappy voice acting or annoying characters, just pure speed. It was the first video game I ever played, incidentally.
Mercenaries - Playground of Destruction - I love this game. Imagine Grand Theft Auto at war and this is what you get. What I love is that you can destroy ANYTHING - not just cars and tanks, eevn buildings go down! And the cheats...whoo, boy...
Timesplitters 2 - One word. MENTAL. The craziest FPS I've ever played.
Metal Slug Series - excluding 6, the Metal Slug series just plain ROCKS. Beautifully sprited, hilariously big guns and gore, cheesy voice-acting...I love this series. I think either 3 or 5 is my favourite.
Alien Hominid - kind of like Metal Slug. My friend Josh came over to play it and we were pissing ourselves we were laughing so hard. The Freeway level? Classic.
Dead Rising - only played a bit of this, but I loved every second of it. Despite the God-awful loading times, this was funny as hell. I loved the wide variety of weapons.
Time Crisis - If I'm in an arcade and I see this, I HAVE to play it, I love it that much....
Ghost Squad - I love Time Crisis, and this really brought back memories. Plus there's the added bonus that you don't have to pump coins into the Wii, you just select continue!
Super Smash Bros. Melee - ****ing briliant. If Brawl is even better than this, it'll be perfect.
Wii Sports - The first Wii game I ever played. I was just amazed by the controls the first time I used it. My Dad pwns me at Bowling though...
Every ID-made shooter - Especially D3 and Q4, for their brilliant atmospheres and stunning visuals.
Half Life 1 & 2 - Very entertaining cleverly made and written.
The Movies (wt Exp pack) - A movie making tool and a tycoon style strategy in one awesome game.
Time Crisis - Especially number 3.
House of the Dead series - No backtracking, no key-finding bull****, just mowing down endless undead.
Supreme Commander - BIG ****ING BATTLES NONSTOP. CAN YOU DIG IT?!
Company of Heroes - In-depth and very realistic; you can feel every explosion and every gunshot as your troops wreak havoc.
Dawn of War - Ive liked WH40k for a while, and this was the game that got me into it. Great graphics and fun gameplay really make this one stand out.
Red Alert 2 - Packed with ecstatic characters, mad visuals and tons of zany troops, tanks and techs. A must have for any RTS fan!
Oddworld series - Fun and clever. Time to think beyond the gun, because you dont get one - you need to use your powers and cleverness to overcome your quest!
Cortex Command - Best 2D Strategy Shooter out there. Once you buy it, remember to DL some of the great mods available on the fan forums!
