I know this is kinda off the main topic but, feh, whatever.

Personally, I think MS7 is being made just to so they can recycle sprites. If it was an arcade game, people'd be expecting a ****load of new stuff. But its for a portable. Meaning they can be lazy ****s.

Maybe they'll put a decent effort in. We dont have much to go on, we only have the EARLY EARLY EARLY EARLY beta gameplay right now. Maybe they'll do what they used to- make a ****load of new stuff. Maybe they'll switch out the rebels and make a totally new army to fight.

We just dont know.

****load

Hah, you gotta remember, the forum filters out naughty words. So if you say F or S, you'll look stupid.

But yeah, I seriously don't play on buying anymore MS games. This series is way past due it's experiation date. MS7 is where they're drawing the line. Every game past 3 was just a bunch of recycled mess.

I'm only getting MS7 'cause I already have a DS. MS is dead. But then again, they might fire the series back up. Doubt it though.

I'll buy MS7, because I will enjoy a portable on MS experience (that I can afford, because I don't have a PSP) and it will be an actual "arcade-style" game.

I really wish that they'll stop using computer generated backgrounds.

That's what I said. It makes the game look really chunky and gaudy. I wonder what made them change their mind?

Keep up with the times, no doubt. A lot of games make the "next-gen" transition fairly well.
(Such as Nintendo titles, for example.) Others (Like MS) just don't cut it.

Dude! Imagine if they really toned down Metal Slug's comedy factor and made the whole thing into a FPS! Everything was all serious and the graphics were like Killzone 2... That would be kick-ass. But in my opinion, though.

I would have a little trouble trying to visiualize an fps ms game, let alone a 3d one...

If MS7 uses the DS's features well, and incoprates some new stuff WHILE retaining the magic of the old games (MS1, MSX, MS3, and MS5 too) then it could be the best Metal Slug game ever.

But knowing SNK, they'll probably bollock it up like they did with 6 and 4. Ah well...we can always hope...

I never got to play a Metal Slug game, though I would REALLY like to try one. It's mainly because there's no arcade in sight, and most platform versions aren't for sale here. I tried emulator Kawaks, but I couldn't get the fricking game running.
*sigh*

Get Metal Slug Anthology for PS2/ PSP/ Or Wii. Or Metal Slug Advance. Most Metal Slug games have been remade on other consoles like Xbox.

That's going to be a problem, since I am only getting a Wii when Smash Bros Brawl is released... in europe.
